Cold Case is the fanlisting dedicated to Edogawa Ranpo from Bungou Stray Dogs listed at The Anime Fanlistings Network. One day, I was just minding my own business (probably despairing over another series), and these feelings for Ranpo suddenly crashed into me. So I began writing. I hope to show you some day! I applied for this fanlisting because Samantha and I made a death pact to apply for fanlistings. What better way to fall into a hell than falling with your friends? This fanlisting was opened on October 21, 2017 in honor of Ranpo's birthday. ❤ HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I LOVE U.
This site's name is chosen due to the definition of the word -- cold case - an unsolved criminal investigation which remains open pending the discovery of new evidence. I like to think of Ranpo as a cold case himself because he is so much more than what meets the eye, and most people can't figure him out.
Creating this layout was a challenge because I'd never made anything like it before, and it was difficult to step outside of my comfort zone. Admittedly, this layout was initially created for the shrine, but I think it translated nicely to a single-page fanlisting despite the tears that were shed. I opted to display everything on a single page because that's how the shrine is designed.
Textures used in this layout are by snappedbeat and Crudelia Graphic. The manga images are pulled from scanlations provided by EGScans and Dazai Scans. The fonts used are HK Serif by Hanken Design Co. and Vollkorn.
